‘Hellboy’ Reboot Starring David Harbour Officially Rated R

David Harbour’s Hellboy has received an official R rating which is no surprise due to the film relying a lot on the comic book source material.

David Harbour’s Hellboy is one of the year’s most anticipated films due to the popularity of the character since fans were left wanting more of him after the previous films. The film has been officially rated R due to sequences that contain “strong bloody violence and gore throughout, and language”. This should not come as a surprise as the film has been aiming for a much more different take on the character than the previous iteration directed by Guillermo del Toro.

Hellboy has been aiming for an R rating as it it will be more violent and focused on the horror aspect of the character. Now, the film has received the official rating it planned to get which may be great for the film as it helps follow the original plan the people behind it wanted. The film planned to be a much darker take on Hellboy with more violence and now that it has been officially rated R fans can expect to see a much more violent take on the character on the big screen.
