Henry Cavill’s Superman rocks the Death of Superman costume and facial hair in new fan art.

When Henry Cavill’s Superman died at the end of Batman v Superman, many DC fans expected the man of steel to return in the iconic black costume in Justice League. Unfortunately, the black suit was left on the cutting room floor, but was featured in a deleted Justice League scene. A black Superman suit easter egg was going to appear when Kal-El returns to the Kryptonian Ship in Metropolis after he comes back from the dead. It isn’t clear if Zack Snyder’s version of Justice Leauge featured the suit in action, but many DC fans felt its absence was a disappointment. Despite its absence from Justice League, awesome fan art depicts how cool Henry Cavill’s Superman could’ve looked in the black-suit:
