Henry Cavill Dons Kingdom Come Superman Suit In New ‘Justice League’ Image

Digital artist spdrmnkyxxiii has created an Alex Ross-inspired photo that imagines Justice League star Henry Cavill as the Kingdom Come Superman.

Henry Cavill made his debut as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel and reprised the role in both Batman v Superman and Justice League. Many fans have supported Henry Cavill’s take on Superman and even imagined the actor as different versions of the Man of Steel though fan art. For example, digital artist spdrmnkyxxiii created a photo featuring Henry Cavill as the Kingdom Come Superman that was inspired by artwork by Alex Ross.

Henry Cavill’s future as Superman is currently in question as Warner Bros. is reportedly considering setting the character aside for the time being in order to focus on Supergirl’s introduction to the DCEU. In the meantime, Henry Cavill will trade in his Superman costume for the lead role on Netflix’s adaptation of The Witcher.

Based on the fantasy series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher will follow the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia, played by Henry Cavill. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez, and Charlotte Brandstrom are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.
