Henry Cavill’s Superman Sports Comic-Accurate Beard In New Image

Henry Cavill, who plays the DC Extended Universe’s Superman, has an awesome comic-accurate beard in a new piece of fan art.

Superman has been played by Henry Cavill since 2013’s Man of Steel. The actor then re-teamed with director Zack Snyder for the 2016 follow-up Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This lead to the hero’s return in 2017’s Justice League, after falling victim to Doomsday in Batman v Superman.

In the comics, after Superman was initially killed by Doomsday, the Kryptonian warrior returned with long hair and a beard. Many fans were hoping to see Henry Cavill sport the comic-accurate beard in Justice League but that never came to fruition. Thanks to a very talented artist by the name of Bryan Fiallos, fans can get a glimpse at what Henry Cavill could’ve looked like with Superman’s beard. Check out the impressive fan art in the post below.

Henry Cavill will soon be coming to Netflix in a new series based on The Witcher franchise. The show will be more of an adaptation of the books than the video game series. The show will be a live-action retelling of The Witcher with Henry Cavill in the lead role.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Henry Cavill’s Superman as soon as more information becomes available.
