Henry Cavill’s ‘The Witcher’ Season 2 Pauses Production Due To Coronavirus

Production on the second season 0f Henry Cavill’s The Witcher has been paused due to the growing concerns over the coronavirus.

The coronavirus has caused yet another TV series delay, with production halting on the second season of Henry Cavill’s The Witcher due to fears of spreading the virus. Following the recent news that Netflix is shutting down production on many of its shows and original films, it seems that filming in the U.K. on The Witcher has been paused for at least two weeks thanks to coronavirus.

According to TheWrap, production on The Witcher season two has stopped for at least two weeks because of coronavirus fears. Obviously, the shut-down on production could go on longer than two weeks depending on the situation, but that it’ll assessed at a later date. Henry Cavill’s The Witcher was originally slated to finish production this Summer, but that date will undoubtedly be later due to the coronavirus.
