Author Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher books were brought to life for the first time in a new Netflix series starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. Since it debuted late last month, the first season of The Witcher earned a legion of fans who are thrilled that Netflix has already given a second-season order to the Henry Cavill series.
Today, Henry Cavill posted a new Instagram to ring in the new year now that his Christmas break has concluded. In the video, Henry Cavill thanked fans for supporting the first season of The Witcher and announced the second year will enter the pre-production phase very soon:
“Hello, everybody. I’m back. I have been enjoying my Christmas break, perhaps a little too much at some points. But now it’s back to work. Pre-production will be starting very shortly on Witcher season 2. I see that you’ve all enjoyed Witcher season 1. Thank you very much for that, I’m glad you enjoyed it.”
Henry Cavill concluded his message by promising new updates on The Witcher in the future, including more cardio videos.
