The official artwork is an awesome callback to Man of Steel.
On Friday, news broke that JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot is developing a Superman reboot with Ta-Nehisi Coates on board to write. It was also mentioned that Henry Cavill is eager to return to the role, but it’s expected that Warner Bros. will cast a Black actor as the next Superman. Cavill’s future as the Man of Steel now feels as uncertain as ever before, but that doesn’t change the fact that he will appear in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which comes out in a few weeks.
Justice League will have a presence at IGN Fan Fest on Saturday at 2 pm ET, and leading up to the virtual panel, Zack Snyder posted awesome artwork of Henry Cavill’s Superman on Vero. The piece is also a nice callback to Man of Steel with art done in the style of Kryptonian technology. You check out the official artwork below!

Here is the official synopsis for the Snyder Cut:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
