Yet another hint at Superman's black suit in 'Justice League' has been dropped via an exclusive piece of merchandise with an interesting description.
The brand is now selling a “Superman Black Armor Justice League” hat that is supposedly modeled after his newly-resurrected appearance in the upcoming film. What’s more important is the description of hat’s look. Part of the description reads:
“A black variation of the Superman suit adorned during his time in the regeneration matrix, a Kryptonian chamber that reversed the previously lethal effects of his protracted punch-em-up with Doomsday.”
Now is that confirmation that Superman is resurrected via the same regeneration matrix that created Doomsday? Not necessarily, but it would make sense. It would also suggest that the black suite merely get’s an appearance during that time, which would also check out given that any marketing material with Superman so far shows off a brighter blue suit. That being said, merchandise can simply be just that and nothing more.
