Homer Simpson Roasts DC In Clip Of Wonder Woman Star Gal Gadot’s Appearance

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has a special guest appearance in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons. In a brief preview of the episode in which Gadot appears, we see her Simpsonized self auditioning for a role in front of Homer Simpson and Ned Flanders.

Flanders is immediately sold on Gadot getting the part she’s auditioning for, but Homer remains skeptical. While citing that he enjoyed her in the Fast & Furious films, Homer asks about what else she’s been in. Gadot asks him if he’s seen Wonder Woman, to which Homer exclaims that he falls asleep every time he sees the DC logo.

Somewhere out there, the most over-zealous of DC Comics fans are trying to pull some conspiracies about this as a bias towards Marvel given that the Disney/Fox merger has been approved. But thankfully, most of us see this as nothing more than a humorous jab that shouldn’t be taken too seriously at all.

Wonder Woman 1984 is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel and Gabriella Wilde.

Wonder Woman 1984 opens in theaters on November 1, 2019.

Warner Bros. and DC Films are currently developing a number of projects, including The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Birds of Prey, Black Adam, Cyborg, Black Adam, Supergirl, New Gods, a Deathstroke film, and a Joker origin movie set outside of the DCEU.
