The Honest Trailers team haven't pulled their punches with this one...
Honest Trailers has never held back when it comes to popular blockbusters, and following the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League it seemed inevitable that the team would once again take aim at the film. Thanks to the terrible theatrical cut, doing an episode on the new film is an open goal for the people behind Honest Trailers, who were quick to roast the overly lengthy runtime that Warner Bros. gave the director this time around.
The Honest Trailers video pulls no punches, roasting the fanbase which campaigned for the film’s release as well as Zack Snyder’s fondness for moody cinematography and slow motion action scenes. IGN recently calculated that 10% of the entire film is in slow motion, which is a staggering amount for a four-hour long film. The Honest Trailers video also jokes with all the different titles in the film. Our favorite? “Darkseid is unavailable right now, Can I take a message?” Take a look below.

Here is the official synopsis for the Snyder Cut:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
