Hugh Jackman Teases Fans With Halloween Version Of Wolverine’s Classic Costume

For the past 17 years, the idea of seeing Wolverine’s classic costume — or at least some version of it — on the big screen has always been possible. That’s all thanks to Hugh Jackman’s incredibly long run as the character. And for 17 years, the yellow suit has either been the punchline of a joke (2000’s X-Men), an alternate ending (2013’s The Wolverine) or a deleted scene in this year’s Logan. Now we can add “silly Halloween costume” to the list as Jackman took to Twitter on Thursday to have some fun.

In the post, which you can see below, Hugh Jackman is seen holding what will probably be the only way for anyone to witness the Australian actor don Wolverine’s signature look. At this point, we’ll take what we can get.

The funniest thing about the whole post may just be “#tootall” — a nod to the fact that Hugh Jackman’s initial casting was seen as the wrong move by the fan community due to his height as compared to Wolverine’s short stature in the comics. Hopefully he’s not too tall for this costume though as his kids will be the ones who will surely get a kick out of their dad reciting Wolverine screams in a goofy costume — or at least embarrassed. Either way, hopefully the tease is more than just that this time.
