Hulk Hogan Wanted ‘Thor’ Star Chris Hemsworth To Play Him Years Ago

Hulk Hogan is finally getting things his way. Not only is he getting a feature film biopic made about his life, but it is set to star the actor he has wanted in the role since for six years in Thor star Chris Hemsworth.

The not-so-new-news comes to us from the official Fandom Twitter page. The site dug up an interview Hulk Hogan did with the Cape Breton Post back in 2013. In the interview, Hulk Hogan spoke about trying to get a biopic made surrounding his life and who he would like to see play him (hint: it was Thor himself):

“You know who I thought would be good? That guy that did that action movie, Thor (Hemsworth).”

You can see the Fandom tweet for yourself below:

The untitled Hulk Hogan biopic will be directed by Todd Philips of The Hangover fame from a script by Scott Silver (The Fighter). It will be Phillips’s next project once he finishes up with The Joker standalone flick starring Joaquin Phoenix.

Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth can be seen once again as Thor in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. Here is the synopsis:
