‘Suicide Squad’: Idris Elba Replaces Will Smith As Deadshot In Incredible Artwork

Idris Elba is said to takeover the role of Deadshot after Will Smith’s departure from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and now we have a look at what he might look like as the DC Comics character.

One of the biggest news of the week has been that of Idris Elba joining the DC Extended Universe as its new Deadshot. Idris Elba will be taking over as Deadshot after Will Smith’s recent departure from the role. Warner Bros. and DC have been making some changes after the recent success of Aquaman and the inclusion of James Gunn in the DCEU. Since James Gunn has been brought along there have been some changes made to the Suicide Squad roster, with one of them being Idris Elba replacing Will Smith as Deadshot. Now we have a look at what Idris Elba could look like in the role thanks to BossLogic. Check out the artwork below.

Idris Elba has the acting chops to play Floyd Lawton and it appears that the actor fits in perfectly in Deadshot’s suit. Sporting a similar look to that of Will Smith’s Floyd Lawton, the actor looks great as Deadshot. BossLogic has outdone himself once again, providing fans with a look of what the actor could look like in the role ahead of the film’s release. Will Smith was one of the highlights of the previous movie and some fans may be sad to see the “Fresh Prince” leave the role, but Idris Elba is an excellent choice to replace him. Will Smith helped bring the Deadshot to the big screen, but now we can look forward to a new take on the character by another great actor.

What do you think of the Idris Elba taking over as Deadshot? Are you sad to see Will Smith exit the role? Are you excited to see what James Gunn will bring to the DC Extended Universe? Share your thoughts below!
