A video of Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter was taken today at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, headquarters of the U.S. Central Command.
Just over a month ago, the first photograph of the reclusive former CEO of Marvel Entertainment Ike Perlmutter was captured in decades when he met with newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The former Marvel CEO has been known to go to extreme measures in the past, even so far as to disguise himself back in 2008 at the premiere of Iron Man. But since the newly elected President took office, Perlmutter has made somewhat of a resurgence in the public eye.
Now a video of Perlmutter has surfaced online. He was in attendance today having lunch with Trump and members of the US military at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, headquarters of the U.S. Central Command. The former CEO is a long-time friend of Trump and has a personal interest in veterans issues. Perlmutter himself is said to be a former Israeli soldier.
Trump has hinted in the past that Perlmutter may play a role in advising him on veteran affairs. Now that he has reemerged into the public eye after giving at least $100,000 in support of Trump fundraising during the presidential campaign, it’s possible he is being prepared for a larger role.
The former Marvel CEO sold the company to Disney for $4 billion back in 2009. While President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige is in command of Marvel’s film division, Perlmutter still has final say over Marvel Television.
