IMAX Poster for ‘Star Trek Beyond’ Is Out Of This World

Star Trek Beyond has done a great job to get fans excited for the latest movie, including a number of amazing posters. IMAX has officially released their exclusive poster for the upcoming Star Trek movie. Justin Lin directs the brand new adventure with Captain Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise in Star Trek Beyond.

Check out the poster below:

After stopping off at Starbase Earhart, a remote outpost on the fringes of Federation space, the USS Enterprise, halfway into their five-year mission, is destroyed by a powerful, unstoppable wave of unknown aliens. With the crew stranded on a unknown planet and with no apparent means of rescue, they find themselves in conflict with a new ruthless enemy who has a well-earned hatred of the Federation and what it stands for.

Directed by Justin Lin, Star Trek Beyond is the third film in the rebooted Star Trek  movie series, now under the official name of the Kelvin Timeline. The film stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoë Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin and Idris Elba. Based upon Star Trek created by Gene Roddenberry, the screenplay is written by Simon Pegg & Doug Jung.

Star Trek Beyond opens in theaters and IMAX from July 22.
