The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.
It looks like The Russos are defintiely looking to avoid audiences walking out of theaters with the feeling of only receiving half a film, a complaint recently seen with the two-part finale of The Hunger Games franchise. Following the events of Captain America: Civil War which resulted in a major change to the status quo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I’ve got a feeling that the Infinity War aspect will be featured more heavily in the second film than the first with another storyline being the central focus. Very interested to see what these films are retititled to and perhaps there’s a chance that we’ll find out at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
