‘Inhumans’: Serinda Swan Discusses Medusa’s Powers

Marvel’s Inhumans is coming to ABC this fall and, with the first trailer for the show having been released, there’s some anticipation and expectation for what the show should be. Actress Serinda Swan, who plays Medusa on Inhumans, recently spoke to ComicBook.co during a set visit and discussed her character’s powers and the dynamic use of her hair during fighting scenes:

“You use the hand movements that you would do. That’s what I do. I do it first how I would do it with my limbs and then from there, you mimic the same facial features that you would do because that’s basically what it is for her. It’s another appendage. So yes, there’s definitely days and moments where I see things and it’s like, ‘Oh, I do that with my hair. Oh, it does that too. OK.’”

The Inhumans series will be premiering in IMAX theaters before it heads for its season on ABC, taking the place of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”

Marvel’s The Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Iwan Rhoen as Maximus the Mad, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran and Ellen Woglom. Inhumans is set to premiere on Friday, September 29 with a two-hour premiere at 8/7c on ABC.
