International ‘Moana’ Trailer Is Probably The Cutest Thing You’ll See Today

There’s a lot of evil in the world, especially today. These are troubling times, filled with a lot of uncertainty, confusion and madness. But let’s put those all aside for a moment, shall we? There are still good things in this world, and there’s a lot worth celebrating. The kinds of things that make you realize that, hey, maybe humanity isn’t all that bad? Things like the newest international trailer for Disney’s Moana, for instance. Sure, it’s cutesy. It’s cutesy to the nines. But hey, what’s wrong with cutesy sometimes? I could use a little cutesy these days. You could too, probably. Let’s embrace the cute. Love the cute. Cherish the cute.

This trailer doesn’t show much, and those who attended Disney D23 Expo last year will probably find this footage familiar. But it’s nevertheless a refreshing little moment of innocence and sweetness, as only Disney can do so well. It’s a small little teaser, but it’s exactly what it needs to be and, more importantly, it’s what we need during these dark, troubled days.

This is not the film’s first teaser, as we saw the first U.S. trailer last month. But it’s no less welcomed, and it’s just what we need to make things just a little bit nicer. Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin) and featuring the voice talents of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Auli’i Cravalho and Alan Tudyk, Moana comes crashing into theaters on November 23. It can’t come soon enough.
