The Internet Reacts To The Official ‘Avengers 4’ Title

Marvel Studios made waves this morning when the official subtitle for the upcoming fourth Avengers film was finally revealed.

The subtitle itself had been long rumored to be Annihilation, however, fans were surprised to learn the title was, in fact, Avengers: Endgame when the first trailer came to a close. Although the title wasn’t what fans were expecting, Endgame was something fans had heard before. We here at Heroic Hollywood even speculated shortly after Avengers: Infinity War that the title would be Endgame based on comments made by Doctor Strange in the last Avengers film. The Russo Brothers were also asked about the chance of the film being titled Endgame last summer, however, the directing duo denied the possibility and even went as far to say that the title for Avengers 4 was never spoken in Infinity War.

Alas, we finally have the title for the Infinity War follow-up and naturally, fans took the internet by storm with their reactions to it. You can check out some of the reactions below!

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will return next year in Avengers: Endgame. The film is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. Much of the cast of Infinity Waris expected to return including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel as well as Pom Klementieff, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin.
