Captain Marvel will transport audiences back to the ’90s before Tony Stark made his debut as Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Carol Danvers will encounter some familiar faces when she returns to Earth, including Nick Fury and Phil Coulson. Now, one fan suggests that Coulson may actually be referring to Captain Marvel during an exchange in which the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent informs Tony that the organization may not depend on him as much as the billionaire believes.
