While on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Colbert poked fun at the legalities of existing in both the DC and The Marvel Universe and Simmons.
Colbert: Soon you’ll be Commissioner Gordon in the Justice League movies. Now can you legally do that, because you’re also in the Marvel Universe as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man. Do you need a special passport to get from the Marvel Universe to the DC Universe?
Simmons: I don’t have it yet. The paperwork is in progress so, I start in a couple of months so hopefully, all of those things will get sorted out by then.
J.K. is known for playing J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Rami’s Spider-Man films. Jamesons’s brash personallity is an extremely different from Comissioner Gordon’s. He will be showing up on set to start filming in a few months. What do you guys think of Simmons’ comments so far? Do you think he’ll make a good Commissioner Gordon? Sound off in the comments section.
