First ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ Trailer Released

Following a number of teases over the past few days, Paramount Pictures has finally released the first full-length trailer for Ed Zwick’s Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. The follow-up to 2012’s Jack Reacher will see the return of Tom Cruise as the titular character for his next action-packed adventure. We got to see most of this footage last week with a commentary by Cobie Smulders, but this time around we’ve got the actual trailer for the movie with even more action. You can check it out below.

Its predecessor was directed by Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation helmer Christopher McQuarrie and turned out to be a pretty good movie, so I’m definitely willing to give this a chance. Here’s the synopsis for the upcoming sequel:

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back follows the title character as he returns to Virginia to meet the head of his former unit. But she’s missing, he’s being charged with a crime committed nearly 20 years ago, and he may even have a daughter. Making things right will lead him on a cross-country chase to uncover the truth – and maybe even a family.

Directed by Ed Zwick, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back will also star Danika Yarosh, Aldis Hodge, Patrick Heusinger, Holt McCallany, Billy Slaughter and Robert Knepper. The movie hits theates on October 21, 2016. Are you guys planning to see this one?
