‘Bond 25’ Photo Shows Daniel Craig As 007 With Classic Aston Martin

A brand new set photo from the currently-untitled Bond 25 shows star Daniel Craig as James Bond AKA 007 in his classy attire as he strolls past a classic Aston Martin V8, which was first seen in 1987’s The Living Daylights which starred Timothy Dalton as James Bond.

The set photo is said to be taken during a scene in which Daniel Craig was with the Aston Martin V8. Perhaps he was driving the iconic vehicle in the scene and is just getting ready for yet another adventure that will begin with him reporting back to London for this new mission.

Daniel Craig previously drove an Aston Martin DB5 in Skyfall and an Aston Martin DB10 in Spectre. The Aston Martin has played a prominent role as an iconic vehicle in much of the James Bond franchise, dating back to when original James Bond actor Sean Connery was 007.

Bond 25 is set to be Daniel Craig’s final outing as James Bond after having played the character since 2006’s Casino Royale, though production was reportedly suspended after the actor had to get x-rays following an on-set injury.

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica.  His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga from a script written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, the 25th James Bond stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw and Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek.

James Bond 25 is scheduled to be released in theaters in April 2020.
