James Gunn’s ‘The Suicide Squad’ Filming Location Revealed

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn is gearing up for his take on The Suicide Squad which is set to begin filming in London.

James Gunn joined Warner Bros. and DC after his exit from Disney and director of Guardians of the Galaxy after a couple of old Tweets from his past resurfaced. These old Tweets led Disney to remove James Gunn from future projects and as director for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, before Disney eventually backtracked on this decision. Before working on the next Guardians of the Galaxy film, however, James Gunn is determined to bring in his take on The Suicide Squad. With that in mind, according to Discussing Film James Gunn is set to begin filming The Suicide Squad in London.

James Gunn will be bringing back old characters and introducing new ones for his film. The Suicide Squad is set to be a soft reboot from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. Even though the film was a hit at the box office, David Ayer’s Suicide Squad earned mixed reviews. Now, James Gunn will be bringing his talent as both a director and writer to help DC revamp the team of misfits and villains to take on a suicide mission. With a new set of characters, the film will surely bring in more audiences as DC’s world grows a little bigger.
