James Gunn Teases Plenty Of Casualties In ‘The Suicide Squad’

Director James Gunn teased on social media that The Suicide Squad will be earning its name with plenty of casualties in the upcoming DC film.

James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is nearing the end of its filming, with production recently wrapping up in Panama. With exterior filming, there have been various photos from the set of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad that have surfaced. Given the characters who appear in those set photos, fans have been speculating on which members of the Suicide Squad will fall.

For those who are concerned that those set pictures might have revealed who ends up surviving The Suicide Squad, James Gunn reassured fans on Twitter that they wouldn’t. James Gunn went on to say that they didn’t shoot in order and that The Suicide Squad ending has already been shot, though he did tease that a lot of characters will die in the film.

The first Suicide Squad followed a team of supervillains who were recruited by the government for a dangerous black ops mission in exchange for reduced sentences. The ensemble cast included Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker. However, James Gunn is expected to deliver on the fresh take on the Suicide Squad in his upcoming movie.
