James Gunn Returns To Twitter With Mysterious Post

James Gunn disappeared from Twitter after being fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 by Disney but has returned with a mysterious message.

After being fired by Disney when inappropriate tweets from over a decade ago resurfaced online, James Gunn disappeared from Twitter for a long time. Once an incredibly active user, he has now become reclusive on Twitter. We hadn’t heard anything from Gunn until today when he randomly tweeted something very weird with no context. While he has already deleted the tweet, people have taken screenshots of the message. The tweet was also accompanied by a photo of Jim Carrey in Liar, Liar.

Oh that sucks, David. Sorry, man.

The last time Gunn tweeted anything was when he was fired from Disney. To see those in conjunction with his latest tweet is odd to say the least. A Twitter user dug up even more old tweets of his and deducted it was most likely a draft tweet that was sent today on accident. Gunn was tweeting to David Hasselhoff concerning a pet that had died.

Even if it was a draft, it’s odd he would have one considering that tweet was posted along with a comedic gif of Jim Carrey. Is James Gunn trying to tell audiences something after his long Twitter silence? Do you think it was just another draft tweet? Or is Gunn finally speaking out again on Twitter?  Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
