Earlier this week, HBO Max announced that a Green Lantern series is being developed for the streaming service by Arrowverse mastermind Greg Berlanti. Unfortunately, details on HBO Max’s Green Lantern series were not divulged, but that has not stopped fans from suggesting actors for key roles, including Westworld star James Marsden.

Known for his role as the android Theodore “Teddy” Flood in HBO’s Westworld, James Marsden already has some experience in the superhero realm, having portrayed Cyclops in multiple installments of 20th Century Fox’s live-action X-Men series. Now, Reddit user “RedPanda242” has shared a new piece of fan art for the HBO Max series that shows James Marsden as Hal Jordan in the midst of suiting of Green Lantern.

A Green Lantern Corps movie is currently in development with Geoff Johns on board as a writer and producer. Full details on Green Lantern Corps are being kept under lock and key, though the project will draw inspiration from Geoff Johns’ work on the New 52 Green Lantern comics with both Hal Jordan and John Stewart set to appear in the film.
