Marvel has had quite a bit success in the past few years with live-action television series. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is returning soon for its sixth season, Cloak & Dagger also returns to Freeform for season two in just a matter of weeks, and many of the Netflix Marvel shows such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and The Punisher have had strong seasons, though they were canceled due underwhelming viewership since late last year.
Hulu’s Runaways has also garnered a cult following with two successful seasons. Fans have been wondering whether or not Runaways would come back to Hulu for a third season and according to actor James Marsters, it is. James Marsters, who plays Victor Stein and Jonah in Runaways, recently attended the Lexington Comic & Toy Con and during the panel, he let the news slip that Marvel and Hulu are bringing back the series for season three.

Here is a synopsis for the second season of Runaways:
The Runaways have left their homes (and evil parents) behind and now have to learn to live on their own. As they scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another, our kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other. And it’s up to them to take down PRIDE once and for all. But someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah… Is there a mole in the Runaways? Meanwhile PRIDE is focused on finding their children, and Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.
Marvel’s Runaways is executive produced by series showrunners/writers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (The O.C. and Gossip Girl) along with Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s The Defenders). Fake Empire’s Lis Rowinski will produce as well. Marvel’s Runaways is a co-production with ABC Signature Studios.
The first and second seasons are now available to stream on Hulu.
