Over the weekend, James McAvoy revealed what he thought about Hugh Jackman's final outing as the clawed mutant hero Wolverine in Logan.
Over the weekend, James McAvoy who portrays the younger version of Charles Xavier in the X-Men franchise was asked what he thought about Logan, Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the clawed mutant hero Wolverine.
McAvoy himself was in attendance at the SXSW festival in Austin, TX to promote the premiere of his new film Atomic Blonde when he was asked by ET Canada about Logan. First, the actor joked about having a job for the next 40 years before revealing his opinion:
“I know I’ve got another 40 years of making these movies, no, it was cool. It was really awesome. And I thought it was beautifully done. And just really great to see these stories that we’re seeing told a lot, actually, just taken somewhere incredibly different.”
The film stars Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Eriq LaSalle, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Boyd Holbrook. Here’s the official synopsis:
“In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”
Logan is now playing.
