‘Aquaman’ Director James Wan Thanks Cast & Crew As Film Passes $1 Billion

Talk about making a splash! Aquaman has officially grossed over $1 billion at the worldwide box office and director James Wan had a few words to share with his cast and crew over Twitter.

You know what they say, “there is no I in team” however the title of the film does come with some weight and it does demand a lot from the lead actor to bring the character to life.

Here’s what Wan had to say in regards to the work Jason Momoa and the entire cast did on the film:

Aquaman is the first of the DC extended universe films to hit this marker and fans should be excited to see what’s to come.

James concluded with this tweet, ultimately dedicated to the fans who have made it all possible and welcomed Aquaman with open arms:
