James Wan reveals the film's official title!
When Aquaman was released back in 2018, fans and critics were blown away by just how entertaining it was. Over its theatrical run, the film would go on to earn over $1B at the worldwide box-office and earned mostly positive reviews from critics, beating out other DC films like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League and turned lead actor Jason Momoa into a major star. A sequel was quickly put into development and for a time was simply known as Aquaman 2. Now the upcoming Jason Momoa film has an official name.
Earlier today, James Wan shared an image that revealed he was in a production meeting for the upcoming film. The post also revealed that the Jason Momoa movie would be titled Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom. You can see the full post at the link below:

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.
Aquaman is available on Digital HD, 4K UHD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD. Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom will release on December 16, 2022.
