‘Halloween’: Jamie Lee Curtis Returning For Next Movie

Jamie Lee Curtis will once again be reprising her role iconic role of Laurie Strode for another outing in the Halloween franchise.

Universal Pictures has announced the scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis will be returning for another outing in the Halloween franchise.

The actress will once again reprise the iconic role of Laurie Strode from the original Halloween which launched her career as well as the slasher-genre itself.

In the new film, Laurie will come face to face with the boogeyman himself, Michael Myers, for her final confrontation with the masked murderer she managed to escape the clutches of on Halloween night 1978. The film is said to carve a new path from the events of the horror classic.

Curtis took to Twitter to announce her return to Haddonfield herself. You can check out her tweet below.

Halloween is a Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions, and Miramax production. John Carpenter returns to serve as executive producer and creative consultant on the project alongside Jason Blum, with David Gordon Green and Danny McBride exec producing under their Rough House Pictures banner. Malek Akkad will also produce. Green will direct the film from a script co-written by himself and McBride. Universal Pictures will distribute worldwide.

Halloween is currently slated to hit theaters October 19, 2018. Stay tuned for the latest news on the development of the Halloween franchise as we learn it.
