Jared Leto Makes Bold Claim About His ‘Suicide Squad’ Performance

Joker actor Jared Leto recently made a bold claim regarding his performance as the Clown Prince of Crime in the Suicide Squad movie.

We’re just a little under a year away from the release of the highly-anticipated Suicide Squad and without a doubt one of the things fans are most eager to see is Jared Leto’s performance as the Joker. The Oscar winning-actor recently spoke about the David Ayer-directed film during a Q&A in Dubai for his band 30 Seconds To Mars.

At the event a fan wearing a Batman shirt approached the mic who Jared Leto called very brave before letting out a maniacal laugh. Leto then went on to comment on his performance — which he’s clearly been taking very seriously — in the upcoming film:

“I can’t wait for you to see this – they’re going to lock me away in a box after this movie comes out.”

While this doesn’t give away much about the upcoming DC Comics film, it does continue give the impression that Jared Leto’s joker will be the most deranged incarnation of the character we’ve seen on the big screen to date.
