Long before he was cast as Aquaman by Zack Snyder, Jason Momoa was a fan-favorite to bring Lobo to life. A live-action Lobo movie was said to be in development for quite some time at Warner Bros. and DC Films with Michael Bay. There have been no updates on that project as of late, but Lobo did make his first live-action appearance in the second season of Syfy’s Krypton. Lobo was portrayed by Emmett J. Scanlan in the ill-fated series. Despite the cancellation of Krypton after two seasons, Lobo may be getting his own series.
Many fans still think that Aquaman star Jason Momoa would make a perfect Lobo. A piece of concept art from digital artist Evangelista backs that claim up. You can see Jason Momoa as Lobo in the artwork below.

David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick is working on the script for the Aquaman sequel, with James Wan expected to return to the director’s chair. For now, Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry can be seen in the first Aquaman movie, which is available on all home media formats. Here’s the official synopsis:
From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
