Jason Momoa Compares ‘Aquaman’ To ‘Star Wars’ & ‘Lord of the Rings’

Aquaman star Jason Momoa says the new film has much in common with Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Lord of the Rings franchises.

Jason Momoa took to the stage to promote this year’s Aquaman during Warner Bros.’ presentation at CinemaCon 2018, and the actor isn’t afraid to compare his DC character’s solo outing to three of the biggest pop culture franchises of all time.

Along with Warner Bros. showing some very early footage and a rough teaser of the film, Jason Momoa likened Aquaman to Indiana JonesStar Wars, and Lord of the Rings. All three franchises are known for their epic tales of adventure and heroism, with a cast of characters fans have fallen in love with over the decades.
