Jason Momoa Brings Arthur Curry To Life In Majestic ‘Aquaman’ Poster

Permission to come aboard? Granted. The promotional material for Aquaman has shown us a very vibrant underwater world. Building off of what Zack Snyder introduced with Aquaman’s appearances in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and last year’s Justice League, James Wan’s upcoming film is sure to take us on a grand, undersea adventure. And right on the heels of a new poster showcasing Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry and Amber Heard’s Mera, we’ve got another poster with Momoa as Arthur Curry.

And in case you hadn’t noticed, Arthur Curry isn’t from around here. Remember what Bruce said in Justice League? Arthur talks to fish. You know anyone on the surface who can do that? I didn’t think so. But in a world with Kryptonians and Amazons, someone who can talk to fish isn’t too out of this world. Such is the case with a new Aquaman poster showcasing Jason Momoa’s Arthur Curry with his trident at the ready. Here, have a look for yourself.

Furthermore, it’s another look at Momoa donning the classic Aquaman costume, which director James Wan has brought to life in great fashion and serves as another form of armor in addition to what we’ve seen Arthur wear in Justice League last year. The marketing machine is continuing to ramp up for Aquaman, and with the Fantastic Beasts sequel hitting theaters soon, Warner Bros. will soon turn its attention towards Aquaman and the next installment in the DC Extended Universe.

Based on what we’ve seen so far with the promotional material for the film, what are your hopes and expectations for Aquaman? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman.

The film will swim into theaters on December 21, 2018.
