James Wan Shares New ‘Aquaman’ Photos Of Jason Momoa In Time For First Anniversary

Aquaman director James Wan has revealed new behind-the-scenes images from the set of the Jason Momoa movie for its first anniversary.

Many of the new pictures showcase Aquaman star Jason Momoa in full costume, along with the costumes of several major characters in action. The practical designs stand out in contrast to the digital-heavy approach of the underwater scenes, but they also work well in the more practical locations.

As it stands, Aquaman defied the odds and became the highest-grossing DC release ever, an accomplishment that James Wan is no doubt very happy with. Check out the images that he had to share of Aquaman star Jason Momoa and more below:

A sequel to Aquaman is currently set to hit theaters on December 16, 2022, with James Wan and Jason Momoa expected to return. Much of the rest of the cast and crew are also expected to be on-board for Aquaman 2.
