With the future of the X-Men now in the hands of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, fans are already proposing potential candidates for the role of Wolverine, who was played by Hugh Jackman in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men film series. This past weekend, Aquaman star Jason Momoa attended Celebrity Fan Fest in San Antonio, Texas and expressed his interest in taking over the role of Wolverine, but it appears digital artist BossLogic has a different X-Men character in mind for him to portray.
In a new piece by BossLogic, Aquaman actor Jason Momoa is depicted as Sabretooth, the mutant with bestial superhuman abilities who is a frequent foe of Wolverine in the comics. In the X-Men film series, Sabretooth was first portrayed by Tyler Mane before Liev Schreiber took over the role in the much-malligned X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Of course, Jason Momoa may have his hands full as the Aquaman sequel is currently set to be released in theaters on December 16, 2022. In the meantime, the first Aquaman film is now available on all home media formats.
