‘The Batman’ Star Jeffrey Wright To Voice Bruce Wayne In Audio Series

Holy podcast series Batman!

The Batman star Jeffrey Wright is set to voice Bruce Wayne in Batman: The Audio Adventures, which offers a comedic take on the Dark Knight.

Aside from playing Commissioner Gordon opposite Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne in The Batman, Jeffrey Wright will voice the Caped Crusader in a new comedic podcast series. The star has previously teased fans with the sound of the Batmobile in the upcoming reboot, and has clearly enjoyed filming the project so far. But a new report from The Hollywood Reporter confirms the star will voice Batman himself in Batman: The Audio Adventures.

The new podcast has assembled an impressive array of actors to join Jeffrey Wright in Batman: The Audio Adventures, including Doom Patrol‘s Alan Tudyk, The Mandalorian‘s Rosario Dawson, Jason Sudeikis, Paul Scheer, Ray Wise and Fred Armisen. Geoff Johns is also an executive producer on the series. It’s not yet known which actor is playing who, but it’ll be interesting to see which villains are used for the project.

Are you excited to hear Jeffrey Wright’s version of Bruce Wayne in The Audio Adventures? What do you want to see from his version of Jim Gordon? Sound-off in the comments below!

Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as Gotham City’s Caped Crusader. The Batman will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films starring Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, Robert Pattinson stars as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is currently scheduled to open in theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news regarding Jeffrey Wright and Batman: The Audio Adventures, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
