New Look At ‘Supernatural’ Star Jensen Ackles Cosplaying As Red Hood Revealed

New photos offer fans a fresh look at Supernatural star Jensen Ackles cosplaying as the comic book character Jason Todd, suited up as the Red Hood.

Supernatural star Jensen Ackles cosplayed as Jason Todd/Red Hood for last year’s Halloween. As Red Hood fans already know, Jensen Ackles voiced the popular DC Comics villain in the 2010 animated Batman film Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Now, brand new photos of Jensen Ackles as Jason Todd/Red Hood have hit the web, showing the actor in costume as the iconic character. You can check out the photos of Jensen Ackles as Jason Todd/Red Hood below.

In the comics, Jason Todd is the second character to take up the mantle of Batman’s sidekick Robin. He later becomes the Red Hood. Supernatural star Jensen Ackles has long been a fan-favorite pick to play Red Hood in a live-action DC Comics movie ever since he voiced the character in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Although Warner Bros. doesn’t have any plans for a Jason Todd/Red Hood standalone film, DC fans may get to see his live-action debut on television sooner rather than later. Titans actor Curran Walters is set to reprise his role as Jason Todd/Robin when the series returns month. The actor recently teased his possible transformation from Jason Todd into Red Hood during the second season of the hit DC Universe series.

What do you think? Would you like to see Jensen Ackles take on the role of Jason Todd/Red Hood in a future DC film? What other roles would you like to see Jensen Ackles in after the final season of Supernatural? Sound-off your thoughts in the comments section!

Warner Bros. has plenty of DC projects in the works. The list includes Matt Reeves’ The Batman, The Flash standalone film, The Suicide Squad, Aquaman 2, The Trench, Black Adam, a Shazam! sequel, Supergirl, and New Gods.

Stay tuned for the latest news on Jensen Ackles and the final season of Supernatural on The CW.
