Jerome, who looks like he’s taking on more of the Joker’s attributes now that there have been changes made to his facial appearance, died in season two. His personality seems to have been altered in this new incarnation.
How he’ll emerge from supposed death is not exactly clear, but it looks like one of Jerome’s followers will be attempting to do it and is discovered by Bullock and Jim Gordon. Obviously, the officers aren’t fast enough to stop Jerome from coming back to life. It’ll be interesting to see what kinds of consequences there are to his reappearance.
