‘Justice League’ Star Joe Manganiello Poses With Deathstroke Hot Toys Figure

A newly-surfaced photo shows Justice League star Joe Manganiello posing with a Deathstroke Hot Toys figure.

Earlier this week, the official Hot Toys Instagram page shared a photo of Justice League actor Joe Manganiello with a Deathstroke 1/6th scale collectible figure inspired by the character’s design in the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins. You can check out the photo below.

Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke made his debut in one of the post-credits scenes of Justice League but his future in the DC Extended Universe is uncertain. After his cameo in Justice League, Deathstroke was supposed to return to the big screen as the villain of Ben Affleck’s The Batman before getting his own movie but that changed when Matt Reeves assumed directorial duties and rewrote the film’s script.

Back in October 2018, Gareth Evans revealed that the Deathstroke solo movie he was developing for Warner Brothers wasstuck in development hell. A few months later, though, Joe Manganiello said that the project is still in the works. There’s been no word on the Deathstroke movie since Manganiello’s interview.

What do you guy think? Would you like to see Joe Manganiello reprise his role as Deathstroke in another DC Extended Universe movie? Sound-off your thoughts in the comments!

Here’s the official synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
