‘Black Panther’ Co-Writer Joe Robert Cole To Write ‘Call Of Duty’ Sequel

Variety reports Black Panther writer Joe Robert Cole is set to write the Call Of Duty movie sequel currently in development.

Activision Blizzard Studios, a film division of the gaming company Activision Blizzard, has Sicario: Day of the Soldado director Stefano Sollima set to direct the first movie. No official synopsis or plot details have yet to be revealed, however, Sollima hopes to make a soldier film rather than a war film.

While the first film has also yet to be cast, Activision Blizzard Studios wants the sequel script ready in time for the first film to go into production according to the trade. Call Of Duty is one of the most popular and successful games of its time. The hype for the Call Of Duty film is undoubtedly high as many fans have been waiting for this video game to come to the big screen. Video game movies have had a rough history, most of them aren’t received well with fans or critics but maybe with the addition of, Cole the studio can finally pull off the video game adaptation.
