Melissa & Joey star Joey Lawrence took to his Instagram account last week urging his multitude of fans to sign a petition and help make him the next Bruce Wayne.

His post has over 11,000 likes and the petition is live and waiting for more fan signatures. Joey Lawrence just might be the hero that Gotham deserves and fans are willing to take a chance on it.
This is the follow up to his post a week ago where Lawrence announced that he is ready to become the Batman after Ben Affleck exited the role.
Lawrence’s post doesn’t waste any time calling out the studio and points out the differences between DC Comics and Warner Bros. and their movie rivals Marvel Studios.
Lawrence urges the studio to think outside the box and take a chance on a lesser star to play the lead role in a blockbuster film. Just as Marvel took a shot with Chris Pratt leading their Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.
The cape and cowl is currently collecting dust in the studios dressing room after former Batman actor Ben Affleck announced he is retiring from his dream of playing the dark knight. A dream that Joey Lawrence also shares by the way.
What are your thoughts on Joey Lawrence possibly getting the role of a lifetime and becoming Batman? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
