John Barrowman Would Love To Be In A Disney Live-Action Remake

John Barrowman has played some pretty memorable characters in the sci-fi world. From Doctor Who, where he played Captain Jack Harkness, to his appearances across The CW‘s DCTV shows, beginning on Arrow and making his way to Legends of Tomorrow as Malcolm Merlyn.

So what would John Barrowman like to tackle next? A Disney live-action movie, of course! Speaking at the Dallas Fan Expo this weekend, Barrowman said he’d love to be a part of a movie like Beauty and the Beast.

“I’d love to do a Disney live action movie. I really would. It’s just a question of what ones they’re going to do now because of the massive success they’ve had with Beauty and the Beast, which I thought was awesome. I sat like a kid in a candy store watching it.”

Asked which character John Barrowman would like to play, he isn’t particularly very picky and would be into playing any character so long as he gets to be a part of the Disney magic.

“I don’t know [which character I would want to play]. I don’t have an answer to that, but it’s always been a dream of mine to be in a Disney film. And whether it’s a voice, or if it was Disney live action, so because of that movie, I think there’s going to be plenty of Disney live action movies coming out, maybe with animated animals, all that sort of stuff. I don’t know. But fingers crossed.”

John Barrowman will next be seen in this Tuesday’s season finale of Legends of Tomorrow, where he’s a part of the Legion of Doom. Legends will air at a special time on Tuesday at 8/7c instead of 9/8c on The CW.
