See John Boyega Become Red Hood For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’

John Boyega swaps a galaxy far, far away for Gotham City.

A new concept design sees Star Wars actor John Boyega become a new version of Red Hood for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

Fans might be used to seeing John Boyega travel through space in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, but a new design pictures him in a gritty and grounded setting (albeit with vigilantes), Gotham City. The art imagines Boyega as a cinematic version of Jason Todd A.K.A. the Red Hood for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman. The star previously endorsed the fan-casting when he spotted a different design of himself as the violent vigilante.

Red Hood will next be seen in Titans season three, played by Curran Walters, with the first look at his impressive costume recently arriving online as production on the HBO Max series gets started. It’s not clear if the Robert Pattinson film will introduce Jason Todd or the rest of the Bat-Family, but this art of John Boyega as Red Hood from Spdrmnkyxxiii on Instagram definitely seems to fit in with the grim universe being crafted by director Matt Reeves. Take a look below.

What do you make of the design of John Boyega as Red Hood? Should Robert Pattinson’s The Batman feature the Bat-Family? Sound-off in the comments below!

Plot details for The Batman are being kept under lock and key, but we know that the project will revolve around Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector. The Batman will also feature the hero making use of his detective skills more than what we’ve seen before in previous iterations of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment to a new Batman trilogy with Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on John Boyega, Red Hood, Robert Pattinson’s upcoming film and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
