‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’: John Boyega Shares Fan’s Tearful Trailer Reaction

John Boyega shared a fan’s emotional reaction to the final trailer for the highly-anticipated film, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. 

The final trailer for J.J. Abrams’ closing chapter on the Skywalker Saga premiered during Monday Night Football on ESPN, and it played on the pure emotions of Star Wars fans worldwide as audiences prepare to bid farewell to the 9-Episode Saga that began in 1977. John Boyega, who has played Finn throughout this sequel trilogy shared a fan’s emotional reaction to the final trailer, in which some tears dropped.

John Boyega expressed his gratitude to the fans reacting to the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. On his official Instagram, the Finn actor shared the following post, teasing that this closing chapter will ring differently on an emotional level. John Boyega is perhaps the most prominent Star Wars fan among the sequel trilogy cast. The actor is known to own a collection of Star Wars merchandise and played much of the franchise’s video games even before he signed on to play Finn, including the Force Unleashed games among others. Seeing him express his gratitude to the fanbase as the marketing campaign for The Rise of Skywalker begins to roll out shows how thankful he is for the opportunity to become one of the sequel trilogy’s main stars.
