In a recent interview, John Krasinski revealed that he is open to working with Marvel Studios, whether it’s in-front of or behind the camera.
John Krasinski has been a fan-favorite actor to play Mr. Fantastic in the next Fantastic Four film for quite sometime. Now that Marvel Studios has regained the film rights to the Fantastic Four, many people think John Krasinski joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe is becoming closer to reality.
John Krasinski has also become well-known for his work behind the camera after A Quiet Place. While promoting the film’s sequel with Esquire, John Krasinski once again showed his interest in working with Marvel Studios when asked if he’d be down to star in the next Fantastic Four movie.
“I was just about to walk into the worst pun ever, but I was like, that’s a fantastic role. That would be awesome. Marvel wrote the playbook on secrecy and awesome sort of tantalizing lay and wait until everything’s announced. I am not committed to the role or anything, but I don’t know when they’re doing it. But if and when they do it, I would love to talk to them about it.”
As far as directing films beyond the A Quiet Place franchise, John Krasinski doesn’t rule out tackling a Marvel Studios film either:
Following its brief appearance in last week's episode, concept art for Titans' Batmobile has been released and reveals different takes on Batman's iconic vehicle.
