John Krasinski has been a fan-favorite actor to play Mr. Fantastic in the next Fantastic Four film for quite sometime. Now that Marvel Studios has regained the film rights to the Fantastic Four, many people think John Krasinski joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe is becoming closer to reality.
John Krasinski has also become well-known for his work behind the camera after A Quiet Place. While promoting the film’s sequel with Esquire, John Krasinski once again showed his interest in working with Marvel Studios when asked if he’d be down to star in the next Fantastic Four movie.
“I was just about to walk into the worst pun ever, but I was like, that’s a fantastic role. That would be awesome. Marvel wrote the playbook on secrecy and awesome sort of tantalizing lay and wait until everything’s announced. I am not committed to the role or anything, but I don’t know when they’re doing it. But if and when they do it, I would love to talk to them about it.”
As far as directing films beyond the A Quiet Place franchise, John Krasinski doesn’t rule out tackling a Marvel Studios film either:
Natalie Portman, who returns to the MCU next month in Thor: Love and Thunder, has…
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness offered a fleeting glimpse at Billy Maximoff's potential…
The screenplay for Matt Reeves' The Batman starring Robert Pattinson will have a hardcover release.…
Jurassic World Dominion easily topped the box office in its debut, and Top Gun: Maverick…
The film will also be set in Central City.
