John Krasinski Becomes Mr. Fantastic For The MCU’s Fantastic Four In New Fan Art

New fan art depicts John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic in the MCU’s Fantastic Four.

After Disney acquired 21st Century Fox’s entertainment assets, control of the Fantastic Four film rights fell under Marvel Studios. Ever since then, fans have been eager to know what Marvel Studios has planned for the Fantastic Four and many continue to suggest John Krasinski for the role of Mr. Fantastic.

Yesterday, the digital artist known as “spdrmnkyxxx” unveiled a concept design depicting John Krasinski in full costume as Mr. Fantastic. In the caption, the artist noted that it would be a missed opportunity if John Krasinki was not cast as Mr. Fantastic considering the actor has expressed his interest in the Fantastic Four role on numerous occasions.

During Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Kevin Feige confirmed a Fantastic Four project is being developed for the MCU. However, the Fantastic Four project was not included in the Phase 4 slate announcement, leaving its place in the MCU a mystery for the time being.
